THE HOWLING WIND, a duo of Ryan Lipynsky (UNEARTHLY TRANCE, SERPENTINE PATH) and Tim Call (ALDEBARAN), present their fourth album, the follow up to their critically-acclaimed album, Of Babalon, released in 2012 on Profound Lore Records. Vortex is a blast of ferocious and raw black metal, but with welcomed influences of stoner rock, death metal, doom, and rock and roll. Nine songs total, including two instrumental tracks and a bonus cover of "Reapers Of Satan" originally by Swedish black metal band War. Originally self-released at the end of 2013 in a very limited edition of 93 copies, Vortex is now available to the masses and housed in a 6-panel digipak and limited to 500 copies.
